About Otoniq

An industrial engineer who builds AI

I’m Malek Abu Ghazaleh, founder of Otoniq AI, based in Amman, Jordan. I trained as an industrial engineer, taught myself AI, and now spend my working life in the gap between the two: plant floors in the morning, AI systems the rest of the day.

The story

Both worlds, every day

My mornings are spent inside a working industrial automation firm, across engineering, automation, IT, and operations on real plants and infrastructure projects: water treatment, manufacturing. Control panels, commissioning reports, electrical submittals, the plant floor itself. The rest of my time goes into building AI systems.

Anyone who has lived through a night shift knows the failure mode. A line stops at 2am and the fault code explains nothing. The answer exists, in one veteran technician’s head or in a submittal filed somewhere nobody can reach at that hour. I’ve watched that play out first-hand. The knowledge is real; it just isn’t available when downtime is counting against you.

Most AI consultants have never read an electrical submittal. Most automation engineers don’t build AI systems. Otoniq exists in the overlap: an industrial engineer by training, self-taught into AI, consulting on where AI pays in OT and building the systems that follow, for plants, integrators, and machine builders alike.

That experience is why Otoniq builds document-grounded AI rather than generic chatbots. Grounded means the system answers only from your documentation: your manuals, drawings, and reports. Every answer cites its source, and when the documents don’t cover a question, the system says so instead of guessing. In a plant, a confident wrong answer is worse than no answer.

Working together

How Otoniq works with OT teams

Direct with the founder

You work with me from the first call to the running system. There are no account managers and no handoffs between teams.

Starts with a discovery call

Every engagement begins with a call about your plant and its documentation. A proposal comes only after we’ve talked through the problem.

Runs on your documentation

Systems are grounded in your manuals, drawings, and reports, and they can be deployed inside your own network.

Arabic and English

Based in Amman, working with OT companies in Jordan and the wider Middle East, and remotely worldwide.

Start with a conversation

Book a discovery call and walk me through your plant: what’s documented, where it lives, and where the gaps are. You’ll get a straight read on whether document-grounded AI can help.
