Control panels, commissioning reports, electrical submittals, the plant floor itself. The rest of my time goes into building AI systems.

Anyone who has lived through a night shift knows the failure mode. A line stops at 2am and the fault code explains nothing. The answer exists, in one veteran technician’s head or in a submittal filed somewhere nobody can reach at that hour. I’ve watched that play out first-hand. The knowledge is real; it just isn’t available when downtime is counting against you.

Most AI consultants have never read an electrical submittal. Most automation engineers don’t build AI systems.
